Frequently asked questions
Why does Little Wild need access to my camera or photos?
Camera access lets you photograph a discovery. Photo Library access lets you choose an existing image. Both are only used when you start those actions.
Why was an identification incorrect?
AI-assisted identification can make mistakes, especially when the subject is small, partly hidden, blurry, or far away. Try a well-lit, close photo from more than one angle. Always treat the result as a suggestion rather than expert advice.
Does location access reveal my exact position?
Location is optional. Saved observations may include location context, while public-facing records use an approximate location. You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings.
Where are my journal entries stored?
The current version stores your journal on your device and does not require an account. Deleting the app may delete your saved observations, so keep important original photos in your Photo Library.
How do I send feedback from the app?
Open Settings or the Feedback card, enter your message, then tap “Send Email Feedback.” Your mail app opens a draft addressed to our support email. Review it and tap the mail app’s Send button.

我的自然日记保存在哪里？
当前版本将自然日记保存在你的设备上，并且不需要账号。删除 App 可能会删除保存的观察记录，因此重要的原始照片建议保留在系统相册中。
如何在 App 内发送反馈？
打开“设置”或首页的“反馈”卡片，输入内容后点击“发送邮件反馈”。系统邮件 App 会打开一封已填写收件人的草稿，确认后还需要点击邮件 App 中的“发送”。
